New York, October 30, 2026 — Mastercard shares climbed 4.2% after the company reported third-quarter adjusted earnings of $5.31 per share, beating the $5.14 consensus estimate. Merck gained 3.8% after posting adjusted earnings of $2.49 per share, above the expected $2.12.
Bristol-Myers Squibb also rose 1.4% after reporting adjusted earnings of $1.35 per share, beating the $1.21 estimate.
